Program:

How Do We Know if It Works?

Dana Weiner, Ph.D., will present on program evaluation. Accountability and systems change both depend on effective measurement: of processes, outcomes, and the system drivers that facilitate or impede success.  In a social service context, understanding whether our investments are “paying off” requires that we think and plan from the outset for program evaluation that identifies key outcomes and metrics, clearly articulates Theories of Change, detects unintended consequences, and sets the stage for replicability, sustainability, and an in-depth understanding of why some strategies are effective and others are not.
