Chicago’s unique free, publicly accessible “Maker Lab” in the Innovation Lab at the Chicago Public Library just opened on July 9.  The Maker Lab allows the general public the opportunity to experiment with the cutting-edge technologies, such as 3-D printers and laser cutters.

Rhona Frazin and Brian Bannon will tell us more about innovation at the Library, and we will be able to explore these exciting new technologies in this new public library space.  You may be able to “print” a small object of your own during our visit, so please plan on staying for the tour!
