Brian Battle joined the Civic Consulting Alliance in June 2013 and has over 16 years of experience in both government and private industry.

He joined Civic Consulting from Xylem, Inc (Formerly ITT Industries) where he served as the Director of Customer Services. In his role he drove top line growth through regional development of customer experience management, customer relationship management, and market facing organizational structure. He also realized productivity and efficiency benefits from work in budget and operational forecasting, as well as through the logistics and distribution warehouses in his network.

Prior to joining ITT, Brian served for nine years as an officer and aviator in the U.S. Navy, flying in support of the conflict in Kosovo, Afghanistan, and Iraq.

Brian holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Swarthmore College and received his M.B.A. from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

Jenné Myers

CEO, Chicago Cares

As CEO of Chicago Cares, Jenné Myers is responsible for guiding Chicago’s leading service organization to create meaningful volunteer experience for 30,000+ corporate and individual volunteers on a yearly basis.

Before this position, Jenné was Senior Director External Affairs for YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago. She also has worked as a lead coordinator for the Chicago Cultural Foundation and with the Mayor’s Office for Richard M. Daley.  

Jaime Guzman

Executive Director – Chicago, Taproot Foundation

Jaime Guzman’s role at Taproot is to set the strategic direction for Chicago and the Midwest region by creating innovative partnerships with nonprofit, business, and civic partners. Taproot increases the awareness of pro bono opportunities with community organizations, civic associations and local partners through comprehensive outreach strategies.

Prior, Jaime was a Senior Director for Outreach with the Big Shoulders Fund and a Chief Advisor for the Board of Trustees at City Colleges of Chicago. He also served as Director, External Relations, with the Chicago Public Schools.

On May 12, 2014, the Corporate Responsibility Group of Chicago joined nearly 12,000 Chicagoland residents to participate in The Chicago Community Trust’s inaugural On the Table event.  Check out the digital report to experience the bold ideas from the first On the Table.

This year, the Trust will mark 100 years of service in the region.  We invite you to once again join the CR Group by taking part in our On the Table 2015 on Tuesday, May 12th.

The On the Table focus this year is honoring and inspiring the philanthropist in each one of us, so we will build on the passion, energy and devotion you bring to your community each day and ask you to share your stories.

Please Note: The format for this meeting will not include the usual half-hour networking.  The meeting will start at 8:00 a.m. and conclude at 9:30 a.m.
